Brett Davis
Brett Davis is a Partner & Managing Director of ETONIEN and Co-founder of enhanceHCM and Crosby Row. Prior to joining ETONIEN in 2008, Brett was a Senior Analyst and Investment Partner at The Sands Group (TSG) and Senior Analyst at The Harris Group (THG), both highly focused commercial real estate investment sales and advisory firms in partnership with Marcus & Millichap.
Brett holds a BS in Finance from Santa Clara University, where he also lettered four years on the Men’s Varsity soccer team. Upon graduating, he played professionally for three seasons in New York, where he won a National Championship in 2002 with the Long Island Roughriders.
Brett is currently a Director with the WGA/Evans Scholars Foundation and was formerly on the board of Los Angeles Team Mentoring. Brett resides in Manhattan Beach with his wife, Maria, and sons, Grant and JJ.
Chadd Davis
Chadd Davis is Partner & Managing Director of ETONIEN and Co-founder of enhanceHCM and Crosby Row. Prior to joining ETONIEN in 2009, Chadd was a Senior Associate at The Harris Group (THG). THG is a highly focused multi-family investment sales and advisory firm in partnership with Marcus & Millichap, the leading multi-family brokerage company in the US.
Chadd graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles where he lettered four years on the UCLA Men’s Varsity Soccer Team, winning the 2002 NCAA National Championship. Following a successful career at UCLA, he played soccer professionally for one season in New York.
Chadd is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Bureau and was formerly on the board of the Red Cross Los Angeles Chapter. Chadd resides in Manhattan Beach with his wife Regan and sons West and Walker.
Karl Pearson
Karl Pearson is Managing Director of the ETONIEN Companies bringing executive-level oversight to client projects and ETONIEN resources to drive project and client success. Prior to joining ETONIEN, Karl held numerous C-level roles as an Operating Partner for Private Equity funds, a CEO, COO, and CFO for a multitude of Industrial, Consumer Product, and Distribution-based companies, and a Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) / Senior Financial Advisor (FA) for over 40 clients.
Karl earned his Bachelors in Economics from Penn State University and MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Karl is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Zuca, a maker of innovative luggage and backpacks for K-12 and professional travelers. Karl was previously an active member of professional organizations including Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI).
Karl resides in Palos Verdes, California with his wife Christine who works as the Director of Operations for St. Peters by the Sea Presbyterian Church in Palos Verdes. Karl and Christine are proud parents to son John and daughter Ellie. John is pursuing a career in baseball while getting his undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy. Ellie is at Penn State University where she is studying English with a minor in Business. Ellie also is a member of the Voile’ dance team and the Phi Sigma sorority.
Ryan Holden
Ryan Holden is Senior Director at ETONIEN, responsible for sourcing and executing new business for the ETONIEN Companies. Ryan works closely with Private Equity sponsors, credit funds and investment banking advisors forging key relationships in the M&A community. He brings over 10 years of business development and B2B sales experience. Prior to ETONIEN, Ryan was the Director of Business Development at ADP where he helped middle market Private Equity funds establish scalable back-office infrastructure across its portfolio.
Ryan earned his BA in Finance from Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, Ryan played club lacrosse and participated in the Hoyas for Hoops student group. Ryan was also an active participant in the tutoring program in Sursum Corda, a low-income housing cooperative north of the U.S. Capitol Building. Ryan continues to look for ways to give back to his local community, recently running a half marathon to raise money for The Sturge-Weber Foundation.
Ryan resides in New Jersey with his wife, Mary Kate, and two sons, Rory and Charlie. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, staying physically active, and searching for the elusive first hole-in-one on the golf course.
Olivia Tong
Olivia Tong leads the Recruitment and Development function at ETONIEN. Prior to joining ETONIEN in 2017, Olivia spent 5 years on the Business Development team at Silicon Valley Bank in the Analytics Group supporting Private Equity, Venture Capital and leading technology companies. Prior to SVB, Oliva was in Business Development for Second Market (sold to Nasdaq in 2015), a platform that enables private companies and Private Equity (PE) investment funds to more efficiently raise capital and provide liquidity to their stakeholders.
Olivia graduated from the University of Michigan. Olivia resides in Santa Monica, California with her husband and two children.
Shannon Burke
Shannon Burke is Director of Recruitment and Development for the ETONIEN companies, focused on attracting, assessing, and presenting top talent. Prior to joining ETONIEN, Shannon spent 14 years with Automatic Data Processing (ADP, LLC) in the Small Business and Major Account Sales divisions, as well as 5.5 years as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant recruiting for Sales, Executive, and VP positions in multiple divisions across the country. During her tenure at ADP, Shannon achieved multiple President Clubs and Falcon Awards.
Shannon graduated from the University of Findlay participating on the IHSA English Equestrian Team. Shannon is a current member of the 100+ Women Getting Together & Giving Together, as well as an active Catechist with her parish. In her free time, Shannon enjoys golf, tennis, and skiing and is a true hockey mom. Shannon resides in Dublin, Ohio with husband Jeremy and sons Jackson and Lucas.
Erin Hastings
Erin Hastings is Operations Manager for ETONIEN, enhanceHCM, and Crosby Row. Erin works closely with the internal leadership team, as well as ETONIEN/enhanceHCM/Crosby Row consultants and clients, to ensure an exceptional level of service and support is provided throughout the entire engagement lifecycle.
Erin is a current member of the American Payroll Association (APA) and is an ADP Certified Payroll Specialist in ADP Workforce Now. She brings 15 years of payroll and accounting experience to the ETONIEN companies. Prior to joining ETONIEN in 2015, she worked as a Payroll Administrator in the legal and insurance space.
Erin lives in Redondo Beach with her daughter Kamiya. In her free time, she and her daughter enjoy, traveling, hiking and cooking together.
Jenny Rhee
Jenny Rhee is Administrative Manager for ETONIEN, enhanceHCM and Crosby Row. She brings over 14 years of experience in the Staffing/Recruiting industry. Prior to joining ETONIEN in 2017, Jenny also worked overseas and in the Non-Profit sector.
Jenny received her Bachelor’s degree in History with emphasis in Iberian Studies from University of California at Santa Barbara. Her hobbies include fishing, gardening and traveling that includes 22 US states and 16 countries. She is fluent in English and Korean with basic knowledge of Chinese and lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and children.
Joseph Davis
Joe Davis is Co-Founder of ETONIEN and has over 40 years of broad business and professional services experience. Formerly a partner with KPMG, during his 27 year with the firm, Joe spent time in the following offices: Orange County, California; Columbus, Ohio; Executive office; Metro New York and Los Angeles, California. Some of his positions included; Managing Partner of the Los Angeles offices, National Partner-in-Charge of Human Resources-Tax, and Senior Partner for global and national accounts.
Joe formally retired from KPMG in 2004. Prior to co-founding ETONIEN with Lawrence Greaves in 2008, he was the Managing Partner for a national consulting firm in Los Angeles. Joe is currently a Board Member and the Chairman of the Finance Committee for The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. He was formerly a Board Member and Audit Committee Chair for a venture capital backed, Silicon Valley Company in the software applications market space. Joe is a CPA in California, New York and Ohio and holds a BA in History/Political Science from Butler University, a BS in Accounting from Arizona State University and a Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California. Joe currently resides in Manhattan Beach with his wife, Beth.
Chris Tucker
Chris Tucker is President of enhanceHCM, ETONIEN’s strategic HR and Payroll consulting practice. Chris brings more than 20 years of experience developing and leading sales organizations in the HCM space. He oversees strategy, revenue and operations for enhanceHCM. Chris specializes in developing new partnerships, nurturing existing relationships, mentoring teams and ensuring overall client satisfaction. Chris is passionate about helping clients achieve success.
Prior to joining enhanceHCM in 2019, Chris held a variety of sales leadership roles at ADP across the Mid-Market and Enterprise markets. His most recent role at ADP was Vice President of Sales in the Global Enterprise Solutions group.
Chris received his Bachelor of Communications from the University of California, Davis. He resides in Hermosa Beach, with his wife Lauren and two daughters. In his free time, Chris is an avid Lakers and Dodgers fan.
Laura Harris
Laura Harris is Vice President of Operations for enhanceHCM, ETONIEN’s strategic HR and Payroll consulting practice. Laura has 8 years of experience working in Human Capital Management and Consulting and currently serves as the Director of Resource Management for enhanceHCM. Laura specializes in cultivating sustainable client relationships while promoting a positive team culture internally. She supports enhanceHCM’s talented group of HR and Payroll consultants and works with clients to ensure the best resources are aligned to meet their needs.
Prior to joining the enhanceHCM team, Laura spent 7 years at ADP in a variety of business development and client account management roles. She then worked for Gartner Inc, a leading international research and advisory firm, where she managed project-based consulting relationships for Public Sector executives in the County of Los Angeles.
Laura graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English and American Studies. She resides in Santa Monica.
Monique Black
Monique Black is Vice President, Private Equity Services & Special Situations at enhanceHCM. Through her exceptional relationship management skills and tangible experience managing complex M&A transactions, Monique’s dedicated oversight ensures proactive risk management, strategic guidance, operational readiness, and integration support throughout every step of the M&A Process.
Monique draws on over 25 years of People Leadership and Consulting experience in Human Capital Operations, employment law compliance, and M&A Integration. Her expertise spans across multiple industries as both an in-house leader and advisor to companies of various sizes, and at varying stages of growth.
Prior to joining enhanceHCM, Monique held a number of executive and C-Level roles in complex, service-oriented organizations where she led and executed successful mergers, acquisitions, & divestitures; and was responsible for HR due diligence, integration strategy and change management.
Monique is passionate about helping organizations stay at the forefront of the constantly evolving HR M&A landscape and she is committed to delivering exceptional value to our clients. Her robust knowledge and achievements offer a powerful asset to the dynamic Private Equity landscape.
Monique received her Bachelor of Communications from Westmont College and is further credentialed in Human Resources Management through the University of California Irvine. Monique resides in Aliso Viejo, California with her family. She is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring cultures across the world.
Shane Malenfant
Shane Malenfant is the Practice Leader at Crosby Row, where he leverages his extensive background in supply chain operations, continuous improvement, and financial performance optimization to drive transformative change for private equity clients. With deep expertise in operational excellence and change management, Shane has a proven track record of delivering significant financial impact, including reducing P&L losses by millions and streamlining operational processes.
Prior to joining Crosby Row, Shane held leadership roles at Peloton Interactive and Envista Corporation, where he delivered significant results, such as reducing negative P&L impact by $14.5 million and improving inventory accuracy by 30%. His ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute data-driven strategies ensures that companies achieve sustainable growth and efficiency.
Shane holds a B.S. in Supply Chain Management and Information Systems from Penn State University, where he graduated as a Schreyer Honors Scholar.
Lance Miller
Lance is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Pivot >, where he leads the strategy and delivery of Pivot’s turnaround and restructuring services to Corporate and Private Equity clients. As a former restructuring lawyer and in-house counsel, Lance leverages 20 years of restructuring experience to deliver a unique blend of strategic and practical advice to guide clients through the restructuring process. Lance’s practice focuses on leadership and restructuring advice for companies, sponsors, and creditors in complex Chapter 11 and out-of-court workout situations. He has experience delivering results in many different roles, including as Financial Advisor, Chief Restructuring Officer, and court-appointed Receiver.

During his time practicing restructuring law, Lance practiced for more than 10 years with Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Jones Day.
Lance’s Board memberships have included Yogaworks and Agway. He is a member of the California and New York Bar Associations, and various professional organizations devoted to corporate distress. Lance’s focus for charitable work is centered around Hillel of San Diego.
Peter Elkin
Peter is a Founder and Partner of Pivot > where he provides turnaround and restructuring services to Corporate and Private Equity clients. As a former CFO and COO, Peter leverages over 25 years of experience to deliver a unique blend of financial and operational advice and practical implementation strategies. Peter brings a track record of success across a multitude of business scenarios, including implementing turnaround strategies as well as guiding companies through growth and hyper-growth phases. His expertise lies in problem-solving by conceptualizing and then implementing initiatives that make impactful contributions in the areas of financial management, cost reductions, revenue growth initiatives, and operational efficiency improvements.
Peter’s wealth of board experience also reflects his expertise in advising Pivot > clients strategically that enhance business performance, mitigate risk, and ensure proper corporate governance. This includes helping companies navigate through challenging scenarios such as crisis management, bankruptcy, and company sale processes. Peter currently serves on the boards of Keep Fit America, OCTANe, and BNG Technologies. His prior board membership includes Yoga Works, Sugarfina, and Aimtell. Beyond his board commitments, he also serves as an Advisor and Member of the UCI Council of Industry Advisors and holds the position of Executive In Residence at UCI’s School of Applied Innovation.
